Moovies, not moovies

The gracious lunch people provided Project HOPE with an abundance of food last night: sandwiches of all sorts and an assortment of gastronomic accessories. In all, our friends' bellies filled up nicely.

The woods are looking quite complete these days, with their carefully placed tarps and cleared campsite.

Our donated toiletries came in handy, 'specially the Dial soap (hopefully the palm oil inside is extracted through moral means).

Plenty of newbies (and other youngsters) joined us last night. Let's keep the enthusiasm going for the year and build an even greater foundation for HOPE at Hoban this year.

Last Day of Summer

So muggy the Kool-Aid sweat.

First timers Mary, Spencer, Ryan and Mike expressed their positive reflections to the rest of the crew last night. Further, they provided some interesting insight. Some expressed their awe that we ventured last night where they had previously driven that day without any knowledge of our "hidden" friends.

Hopefully, we all let this bother us as we go off to college or start the new high school season.
